I have illustrated a fair few books for children and grown ups.

First, here are a few pictures (some are detail cuts) that I did for the new book Dancing For Danger.
This is a great story of Ireland in the early 1800's.
Written by Margot Griffin and published by Stoddart Kids.(Now by Fitzhenry and Whiteside.)
I worked with two marvelous people on this job: Author Margot and publisher Kathryn.

Since this, the next two Meggy books are finished - Secret of the Crystal Cave, and The Dance of Life.

 
 
Dancing for Danger is about Meggy, a plucky twelve year old in Ireland in the early 1800's.
The English had denied schooling to the Irish Catholics, who were forced to have their classes in the most unlikely places.
