“Joyfully we come along…”

Recently, the state secondary school in kulmbach invited to a summer concert in the school gymnasium. Well filled with more than 600 listeners and participants, a varied and stimulating program awaited the visitors there. Under the leadership of music teacher michaela axtner, students from grades 5 to 10 performed and danced.
"Happy we come along…" The class 5b under the direction of juliane furstenau started with a "funky japanese". This showed that it is possible to learn to play the recorder with a whole class at the same time.

Colorful song potpourri

A colorful potpourri of songs in a flute choir, cleverly accompanied by percussion instruments, offered a joyful start. Soloists this evening were christopher ott with a secure and mature tone on the trumpet, as well as lilly hourle, eliciting warm tones from the cello, on the stage. They mastered their pieces with bravura.
Elias hammon thrilled the audience with his beat-boxing performance his class 6g2, who performed the song "probier’s mal mit gemutlichkeit" by max giesinger performed. Soloists in the verses lilly hourle and jennifer nguyen sang with clear, carrying voices.

The french language blended beautifully with the touching melodies. The french teachers ms. Behr and ms. Schones from ashes

Bettina schardt accompanied the songs on the piano. "Ashes" – from the soundtrack to "deadpool 2 was about the question, if something beautiful can arise from ashes. Principal monika hild surprised the young artist by telling him that she had only received the news that afternoon that vinzenz standner had been named upper franconian secondary school champion in the field of artistic activities. The young man was given a stormy applause by the audience. The school choir raised further enthusiastic gales with the classics "I have a dream", "sound of silence and "love is all around" as well as the dance group under the direction of michael kegelmann, who performed to the title "there’s nothing holding me back" a snappy choreography with artistic interludes was presented.
